Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiparasitic and Antiseborrheic Medicated Shampoo for Dogs contains coal tar, salicylic acid, and micronized sulfur to help soothe scaly, itchy skin commonly caused by seborrhea, mange, and parasitic infections.

  • Coal tar- Helps sheds dead skin cells from the top layer and is used to help alleviate itching, flaking, and, scaling that can be caused by seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis.
  • Salicylic acid- This ingredient has anti-inflammatory properties and is widely used in skincare products for seborrheic dermatitis, acne, psoriasis, dandruff, and even warts. It works to shed cells from the epidermis, clearing clogged pores, neutralizing bacteria, and preventing pores from re-clogging by tightening them and not allowing for new cell growth.
  • Micronized Sulfur- Well known for its detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties, sulfur has also been used as a fungicide and pesticide. For pets, it’s used to help manage ringworm, seborrhea, mange, other dermatoses, and even parasites
  • Oatmeal & Allantoin- Great for hydrating the skin and promoting healing, these ingredients provide a soothing balance.
Wet coat and apply shampoo generously. Work into a thick lather, massaging into the coat to thoroughly saturate skin. Allow to remain on pet 10-15 minutes. Rinse well. Initially, shampoo pet 2-3 times weekly. As skin condition improves, frequency of use can be lessened. For topical use only on dogs over 12 weeks of age. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian. Not safe for cats.
Note: Due to its coal tar content, we do not recommend its use on cats.
